Over twenty years I drew more than ten thousand cartoons, published in newspapers, magazines and more than a hundred books around the world. And I taught thousands of people in cartooning classes - children as well as adults - all over Australia.

The more experience I got, the more I refined and changed the way I taught. Not only because the students and I were having more fun, but because it got much better results. This book is built around those refinements. It's all the stuff that works best in my cartooning classes, plus a whole lot of really cool stuff added that I never seem to have time for in class. And then all of it zapped into an A5 format.

It's just like having me there showing you how it's done, except not as annoying as having me there showing you how it's done.

To keep costs down I'm publishing it myself and printing it in A5 format. Which is how I can squeeze a ten-dollar book into a six-dollar package.
